Emmaus Nights
The name “Emmaus Nights” comes from the Gospel according to St. Luke 24:13-35 in which Jesus encounters the disciples and walks with them. In that encounter, the disciples are surprised by how Jesus enters into their experience and how their hearts are transformed in the process. Every Third Thursday, Emmaus Nights is a gathering of young adults for Eucharistic Adoration, a coffeehouse environment, and a talk. We will go out for dinner and drinks afterward.
The theme for 2024-2025 focuses on Eucharistic Revival as called upon by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops!
Each Emmaus Night will follow the agenda below and will rotate across the three parishes we serve: Holy Family Catholic Church (Marietta), St. Thomas the Apostle (Smyrna), and St. Joseph (Marietta). Check out our Events Calendar to know the location, speaker, and topic.
